President: Andrew Must
SRDB founder and president Andrew Must was born and raised in Lobelia, West Virginia. His love for building led him to work construction jobs in summers during college, and a year after graduating he moved home and began taking on small jobs of his own. Recruiting help from friends and soliciting advice from knowledgeable neighbors in the trade, he began building the framework for his own company. He officially got a contractor’s license in 2011 and created Seven Rivers Design+Build. Currently pursuing a MBA in sustainability, Andrew continues to guide Seven Rivers’ ethos as the company expands and draws on the creativity & expertise of the company’s many skilled employees.
Operations Manager: John Meyer
John was raised in Wisconsin farm country, and moved to DC in high school where he lived for the next 30 years. There he started working in construction at age 18, at the bottom of the ladder. After gaining years of experience, he started a decking company and later did production management in Arlington VA, for a high-end remodeling company. He moved to WV to escape the confines of the city and start a charity project, then began working for Seven Rivers. He’s currently carving out a new life up on a mountainside in northern Greenbrier county with his new best friend and wife Connie. He still holds onto his “midwest values” and loves working with people in the Mountain State.
Rob grew up in Renick, WV, and has been with Seven Rivers for 3 years. He loves challenging, creative work, and is a highly skilled craftsperson. Outside of work he enjoys caving, marksmanship, metal-smithing, and is known as a general DIY master.
